Hey, guys. Today I thought a lot about this topic and I decided to talk about it with you and share my thoughts and maybe advise and be useful to those like me who expect a baby but is already a mother of a fantastic hairy. I always say it, they are two different things of course the motherhood and the arrival of a quadruped in the house but they are both things that I wanted so much. With the child it usually takes 9 months of waiting (it took me more than a year and a few months to be able to conceive it plus the 9 months of waiting), but as long was the waiting for Albert. First of all, motherhood comes as a natural thing, not for everyone obvious (now there are births given thanks to science and its progress), but I speak in general or as it was for me. It seems like something that everyone has already told you and that when they repeat it to you, you just think: “Yes, why not?” and you are perplexed like this I used to do when they said to me: “When you stop thinking about it, then it comes to me” and I thought: “Whatever it is possible that if it doesn’t come now, I try it on the right days, taking tests of the most fertile days, etc., then if I don’t think about anything, it comes to it, but above all, how can you not think about the “thing” that you would most like to see in this world? But girls from personal experience I swear! That’s exactly what happened! In the period in which I thought less about it, partly because I was almost surrendered that I was not fertile me or my husband, partly because it was a moment in my life when my husband and I would soon move to another city, in short, the thoughts were different. And it was right there that he arrived! And to think of all the things I did before I found out that that tiny dot was already inside me and that in a few months it would develop into a child? He was already there, on that endless 24 hour drive without ever sleeping from New York to Miami. Returning to us Albert instead I’ve wanted it all my life, he too, but before I could have it with me, 6 months have passed, six long months of insistence with my husband who despite loving the animals, was intransigent: the dog in the house without a garden was not talked about! It took me 6 months of requests, various promises, weeping, to get me to say yes and to be able to take my little one in my arms! And even when it was almost decided my husband to get to Albert there was a need, research in kennels, associations to buy it has never been talked about (why buy dog, when there are so many suffering, are they alone and sad?) when after months thanks to a word of mouth we adopted Albert, taken from a gentleman, from a farmhouse, the last of the litter and always wonder what would happen if we had not come to pick him up that day? However, the rules (of my husband) with him at home lasted zero time, no on the bed, no on the couch, no in the room, no games scattered around the house and there were many others of the same type: “you take care of it only you, since you wanted it so much” I would have promised everything. But that was the first rule that my husband overtaken if you saw him now. Woe to those who touch their Albert! He sleeps with us, lives in symbiosis with us, we brought him from Italy to America with us, so as not to let him go in the hold we took a week-long transatlantic cruise just for Albert. For us, he is our child. That’s how he feels, and it’s right that he should continue to feel that way, never make them jealous. My husband and I will do everything possible to make him feel loved, desired, looked at as before, for now, I’m making him live in contact with my belly, he falls asleep under the blankets with me with his face over his belly and I think he was the first ever to already understand that I was pregnant.I think they already love each other, because they both feel, as if they already knew each other. He often gives me the basins on my belly. They are intelligent, they observe and learn, I caress my belly and explain to him that there will be a little brother / sister. In the family you have to share the tasks, if one of the two (almost always the mother) is too busy to be able to give attention to the dog as before, the other has to devote twice his time to play, walk etc.. replacing the lack of the other is done a bit in turns. Moreover, from the very first moment the newborn must be brought into contact with his own hairs, this will give them the opportunity to have the imprinting and get to know each other without jealousies or fears. Just make sure that the dog is not too impetuous but smelling basins, hairs do not hurt the newcomer. When you buy the baby’s things let the dog smell them, let them investigate everything, this will reassure them and will not make them feel like new objects, not his, that he can not touch! Are you going to use a specific type of cream for your child? Start by applying it yourself on your hands a few times.

Ehi ragazze!
